INT. ERIC’S CAR
Eric looks over at Danielle.
DANIELLE
I had fun tonight.
ERIC
Me to.
DANIELLE
Well I better go in.
ERIC
Can I come in for a minute.
DANIELLE
No. You know I’ll get
in trouble if my parents see you.
ERIC
I need to use the bathroom.
DANIELLE
No way.
ERIC
I really need to go bad.
DANIELLE
Ok, but we need to be real quiet.
They both exit the car and walk up to the house.
INT. HALLWAY
Danielle is leaning against the wall waiting on Eric. She looks around for her parents and is a
little nervous that they might see Eric.
Eric exits the bathroom and walks over to her. She tries to lead him out to the front door
but he has something else in mind. He
walks over to the garage door and puts his hand on it.
ERIC
What’s in here?
DANIELLE
Come on before my parents see you in here.
Eric ignores her and walks into the garage.
INT. GARAGE
Eric walks over to a pile of boxes. Danielle walks into the garage.
ERIC
This garage is cluttered.
DANIELLE
You need to get out of here.
You’re going to get me in trouble.
Eric walks behind the stack of boxes. Danielle walks over to him.
ERIC
Nobody can see us back here.
Danielle grabs his hand and tries to pull him out. Instead he pulls here and wraps his hands
around her. She struggles to free
herself.
DANIELLE
Let me go.
ERIC
Let’s have some fun?
Eric tries to kiss her and she pushes his face away.
DANIELLE
No. Let go.
Eric let’s go.
ERIC
What is your problem?
DANIELLE
I’m not ready for that.
ERIC
There’s lots of other girls that
would love to be with me.
DANIELLE
We’ll go out with them.
ERIC
You need to grow up.
DANIELLE
You need to leave.
Eric tries to force himself on her. Danielle screams.
DANIELLE
Help!
A moment later the garage door opens up. John runs in and looks around. Eric lets Danielle go. Danielle walks out from behind the boxes crying
a moment later Eric walks out. John
grabs Eric by the arm and begins to escort him out.
ERIC
Be careful man, I was just leaving.
JOHN
Yes you are leaving.
John opens the garage door and leads Eric out the door and
lets him go. Eric
walks away smiling.
JOHN
I better not see you around here again.
Eric shrugs his shoulders and walks over to his car gets in and drives away.
Danielle and group of friends are hanging out in front of
the high school. Danielle is looking
across the street at a teenage guy ERIC standing by his car talking with a
group of friends. Danielle’s friend DEB
sees this.
DEB
You should talk to him.
DANIELLE
No way.
DEB
You know he likes you.
Eric looks over and smiles at Danielle. She smiles back at him.
DANIELLE
If he wants to talk I’m right here.
Eric starts to walk toward her.
DEB
Looks like he wants to talk.
Danielle panics.
DANIELLE
Oh, no what do I do?
DEB
You’ll figure it out.
Deb smiles. Eric arrives, Deb
and the group leave them alone.
ERIC
Hi Danielle.
DANIELLE
Hi.
ERIC
You doing anything on Saturday?
DANIELLE
Not really.
ERIC
You want to hang out?
DANIELLE
I can’t.
ERIC
Why not?
Danielle is a little embarrassed.
DANIELLE
I’m not allowed to date yet.
ERIC
Really? That’s crazy.
How old are you?
DANIELLE
Sixteen.
ERIC
You should just go out with me. Rules are meant to be broken.
DANIELLE
I can’t.
Eric shrugs his shoulders and begins to walk away.
ERIC
Ok, if you change your mind I’ll be at the lake.
Danielle smiles and Eric walks back over to his car, gets in
and drives away.
DEB
He’s right rules are meant to be broken.
DANIELLE
I’ll think about it.
