DEB
You should talk to him.
DANIELLE
No way.
DEB
You know he likes you.
Eric looks over and smiles at Danielle. She smiles back at him.
DANIELLE
If he wants to talk I’m right here.
Eric starts to walk toward her.
DEB
Looks like he wants to talk.
Danielle panics.
DANIELLE
Oh, no what do I do?
DEB
You’ll figure it out.
Deb smiles. Eric arrives, Deb and the group leave them alone.
Danielle and Deb are walking to Deb’s car.
DEB

DEB
You wouldn’t tell me what happened.
DANIELLE
I can’t believe you did that.
DEB
We’ll you wouldn’t tell me what happened. I was just trying to be a friend and help you.
Danielle looks curious.
DANIELLE
What did he say?
DEB
Nothing much.
DANIELLE
Tell me.
DEB
He said you were a tease.
DANIELLE
What? I didn’t even do anything wrong.
They arrive at the car.
DEB
Well guys are like that. They get the wrong idea very easy.
Danielle shakes her head and the both get in the car.

DEB
What’s wrong?
JESSICA
I have to quit the band.
DEB
What? Why?
JESSICA
My mom thinks it’s a waste of my time.
Deb looks very upset.
DEB
Can we still practice here?
JESSICA
No.
DEB
Great. We were just starting to sound good.
JESSICA
I’m sorry.
DEB

our stuff?
JESSICA
Yeah.
